The Cruisers's Anthem: Creed of a (Harley) Rider - Live by it

We believe in going our own way, no matter which way the rest of the world is going. We believe in bucking the system that's built to smash individuals like bugs on a windshield. Some of us believe in the man upstairs. All of us believe in sticking it to the man down here. We believe in the sky, and we don't believe in the sunroof. We believe in freedom. We believe in dust, tumbleweeds, buffalo, mountain ranges and riding off into the sunset. We believe in saddlebags and we believe that cowboys had it right. We believe in refusing to knuckle under to anyone. We believe in wearing black, because it doesn't show any dirt or weakness. We believe the world is going soft, and we're not going along with it. We believe in motorcycle rallies that last a week. We believe in road side attractions, gas station hot dogs, and finding out what's over the next hill. We believe in rumbling engines, pistons the size of garbage cans, fuel tanks designed in 1936, freight-train size headlights, chrome and custom paint. We believe in flames and skulls. We believe life is what you make it, and we make it one hell of a ride. We believe the machine you sit on can tell the world exactly where you stand. We don't care what everyone else believes.

Amen.

Riders on the Storm

Inspired by (Credits) The Doors (1971). Genre - Psychedelic Rock/ Jazz Fusion.

Riders on the Storm.../ Riders on the Storm.../ Into this house we're born.../ Into this house we're thrown.../ Like a dog without a bone.../ An actor out on loan.../ Riders on the Storm...

There's a killer on the road... / His brain is squirmin' like a toad.../ Take a long holiday.../ Let your children play.../ If ya give this man a ride.../ Sweet family will die.../ Killer on the road.. Yeah!

Girl ya gotta love your man.../ Take him by the hand.../ Make him understand.../ The world on you depends on.../ Our life will never end.../ Gotta love your man... Yeah!

Riders on the Storm...

Leave Home. Or so it says - the rusty Royal Enfield brochure lying on my table top. Never owned a motorcycle. Not until next month. Almost there. Test drove the Thunderbird Twinspark yesterday in campus. And boy! This machine is something. Lost sensation of time as it revved up to 60 miles an hour. Cruising, I was, literally. An all power machine. Raw and plenty. Comfort par excellence. I love this motorcycle. And its going to be mine. Very Soon.

The long country ride that awaits me. Winding ways, wind whisking past the shades. Chums cruising alongside me - Ansh, Mayank, Sanjay, Hemang and Sushant. (Trivia: Ansh is getting a Thunderbird too). Riding on and on... till the end of the world. Hit the highway... burn the road. I'm so in love with the Thunderbird !!!
